On behalf of our client, a leading national department store retailer, Randstad is hiring a Data & Records Quality Specialist. This is a short term contract opportunity working form home EXCEPT for Tuesdays.
About the Role Are you detail-oriented with a passion for keeping data clean and organized? We are looking for a dedicated Data & Records Quality Specialist to join our team for a 2-month contract assignment. In this role, you will play a key part in validating migrated data, resolving record discrepancies, and ensuring seamless document management across enterprise systems.
- Pay Rate: $20.50 – $20.71 / hour
- Location: Hybrid in Marlborough, MA (In-office on Tuesdays only)
- Contract Length: 60 days
Qualifications Must-haves:
- 1+ years of experience in data quality, document control, records management, or related administrative roles.
- Proven ability to review large volumes of information with strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience working with enterprise applications, databases, or content management systems.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
- strong organization and communication skills to manage priorities in a deadline-driven setting.
Nice-to-haves:
- Prior experience handling large-scale system migrations or legacy data cleanups.
- Comfort navigating multiple legacy repositories and database structures simultaneously.

Responsibilities
- Validate Migrated Data: Compare records in the new system against legacy databases to verify completeness, accuracy, and file accessibility.
- Audit & Upload Documents: Locate missing files in legacy repositories and upload them to the appropriate records in the new system.
- Correct Metadata: Review and update document attributes—including titles, categories, dates, and ownership—to ensure accurate tracking.
- Track Findings & Escalate: Keep precise logs of data quality findings and escalate complex system issues or unresolved discrepancies to project leads.
